Mother’s High Tea®, is the signature social event for the cannabis advocacy and business communities. It is a family-friendly, public high tea, designed to normalize legalized cannabis and those who work in the cannabis industry and advocacy arenas. Mother’s High Tea® features a world-class educational speaker program, fun, creative activities for all ages, which benefit local non-profits while spending unique social time with friends, family, and colleagues.
about the Founder
Susan Squibb, Cannabis Maven®
Susan Squibb, The Cannabis Maven®, has business and advocacy experience in hemp and marijuana since 1996, in Colorado. Her resume includes being president of a pioneering hemp food company; director of operations for an analytical lab, director of operations for topical CBD companies and marijuana edible companies. Starting in 2017, Susan pivoted into a legal career as a certified paralegal working in both law firm and in-house settings developing corporate and regulatory law experience
As a freelance writer, Susan wrote over 100 columns of thoughtful marijuana advice in the column, Ask The Cannabist, for Denver Post's online marijuana news site, The Cannabist.
Susan is the founder and director of Mother’s High Tea®. Mother’s High Tea® was inspired by the loss and memory of Susan‘s own mother and finding new ways to build women focused community with a unique annual event.
